Almost all photography on this site is taken by me, Amanda. The exception would be a photo where I am in it, as you can see to your right. One day I'll get to telekinetically holding a camera- until then, I rely on friends.

I'm known online mostly as Elemental, though I do AMV work occasionaly under Anamorphic Productions, and my LJ is writerz_bloc. My cosplay.com gallery can be found here.

I answer to just about anything, including 'hey you' but never 'Mom'. Though you're most likely to get a nice response if you call me Amanda or Elemental.

All that said, I'm pretty friendly. I take photos at cons because I love cosplay, and I love photography, and I really want to give cosplayers good, gallery worthy photos of their work. I want to take your photo! Really! Several of them, with different poses, and close ups on the details and everything! So please, don't hesitate to say hi to me at a con, or ask me to shoot certain aspects you're proud of, or to do a few of you and your friend goofing off. I'd love to- really.

The other details are that I'm 23, I work full time and don't drive, so I'm limited on the cons I can attend, especially as I'm expected to work weekends. That said, I'll try to go to every con I can, and regularly makeit to/staff Ad Astra, MTAC, Anime North, Polaris, NAF, Youmacon, and DTAC. I also organize the Centre Island Photoshoot, and regularly hold photo gatherings for friends and friends-of downtown for fun and practice.

I am, admittedly, often busy at cons. So if you catch me while I'm running somewhere and I can't stop, please don't hesitate to grab me later for a chat. I'm generally speaking easy enough to find if you look for the big blinding flashes going off...



Canon Rebel XT, Tamron 17-50 2.8 (My 'walkaround' lens), Tamron 24-70 2.8, Canon 70-300 4-5.6 USM, Speedlight 430, Gary Fong Lightsphere (type 2) and Whaletale (reporter), a flash sync cable, various Lowepro bags, a manfrotto tripod, a trekpod, and roughly 7 gigs of memory.

I am currently saving for: a Mr Blindy (reflector) of my own. Further investments-to-be include a 580 flash, and a Canon pocketwizard.
